Tata Harrier XMS And XMAS Launched

2022 Tata Harrier XMAS and XMS come with features such as a floating touchscreen infotainment system, reverse parking camera, eight-speaker audio, etc

Tata Motors has today announced the launch of the XMS and XMAS variants of the Harrier in the domestic market and they have a starting price of Rs. 17.20 lakh and Rs. 18.50 lakh respectively (ex-showroom). The XMS manual variant sits above the entry-level XE and XM while the XMAS automatic trim is positioned above the base XMA making it an attractive proposition.

The homegrown auto major introduced the Harrier for the first time in early 2019 and its range has regularly been updated with the inclusion of new variants and features over the years. The 2022 Tata Harrier XMS and XMAS variants are equipped with features such as a panoramic sunroof, an eight-speaker audio system, a reverse parking camera with dynamic guidelines, etc.

With no powertrain changes, the Harrier continues to derive power from a 2.0-litre four-cylinder Fiat-sourced diesel engine, which is good enough to generate a maximum power output of 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain is linked with a six-speed manual transmission as standard while a six-speed torque converter automatic unit is an option.
