2019 Mahindra TUV300 facelift comes with minor exterior and interior changes along with more safety features as standard

Mahindra officially launched the TUV300 facelift model earlier this month and the new model comes with minor changes when compared to its predecessor. The TUV300 is powered by 1.5 L diesel engine producing 100 hp at 3,750 rpm and 240 Nm at 1,600 rpm and 2,800 rpm and this engine is mated to 5-speed manual gearbox. In this article, we take a look at the top 5 changes on the facelift model.

1. Revised Exterior

The overall design theme has been carried over from earlier model but the SUV gets piano black finished front grille with chrome inserts, which gives a fresh look for the front along with tweaked headlamps with integrated DRLs in it. The 10-spoke 15-inch alloy wheel is finished in grey and the rear gets an integrated spoiler along with new X-Shaped metallic grey cover.

2. Updated Interior

Like the exterior, the interior also comes with minor updates as the centre console has a silver finish and piano black inserts. The black and beige colour theme of the earlier model has been carried over the new model one with three spoke multi-function steering wheel and the instrument cluster has a MID screen in the middle.

3. New Safety Features

The TUV300 facelift model gets new safety features like speed alert, driver and co-passenger seat belt alert, driver airbag and reverse parking sensor as standard along with dual-airbags, reverse camera and ABS with EBD, but most of them are available only on the top-spec trim.

4. Improved Ride and Handling

Mahindra has made some changes to the ride height as they want to make the new model ride better than the earlier model as it was one of the feedback the company received from customers. This changes will improve the handling of the facelift model.

5. New Colours and Price Increase

Mahindra is now offering the TUV300 facelift model with seven colours and among them, two colours are new – Highway Red and Mystic Copper. The facelift model is available in 7 variants – T4+, T6+, T8, T10, T10 Dual Tone, T10 OPT and T10 OPT Dual Tone. The company has increased the price by Rs. 10,000.
