2019 Kawasaki Range Launched With New Colours

The sales of updated bikes are expected to begin in coming weeks and we can expect new colour options to be introduced later this year in India

Kawasaki officially introduced updates for Ninja ZX-14R, Z900RS, Verys 650 and Versys-X 300 in Europe. The changes are limited to new colours and the Japanese manufacturer hasn’t made any mechanical changes. The sales of the updated bikes are expected to begin in coming weeks and we can expect new colour options to be introduced later this year in India.

The Japanese manufacturer discontinued black and green colour option on Ninja ZX-10R and replaced them with Metallic Spark Black and Candy Cardinal Red. The Z900RS now comes with Jaffa colour from the iconic Z1 along with Metallic Matte Covert Khaki and Flat Ebony.

The Verys 650 is now available with Metallic Moondust Gray and Metallic Flat Spark Black. Kawasaki Verys-X 300 comes in two new colours – Metallic Moondust Gray and Metallic Flat Spark Black Shade, along with new colours X-300 comes with black colour for spoke wheels instead of silver and Versys branding written on the fuel tank.

The Versys X-300 is powered by 296 cc twin cylinder engine producing 38.7 bhp of power at 11,500 rpm and 25.7 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm. This engine is mated to 6 speed gearbox and stopping power comes from 290 mm single disc at front and 220 mm disc at rear along with dual channel ABS as standard.

Kawasaki is currently working on increasing CKD operations in India and the company has recently launched Ninja 300 at Rs. 2.98 lakh (ex-showroom), along with some limited period offers also. The Ninja 300 also comes with dual channel ABS and slipper clutch as standard features compared to some of its rivals, which doesn’t get them even as an option.

The Ninja ZX-10R is one of the products which got massive price cut during CKD transition as new model saw price drop of almost Rs. 6 lakh and it the most affordable litre class bike available in the country. The Japanese manufacturer is offering two variants in India – Ninja ZX10R and ZX-10RR.
