Bajaj Dominar 400 UG clocked 2,044 units sales in June 2019 compared to 816 units registered in same month last year

The newly introduced 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 has once again proved its worth as it registered an impressive 150 percent rise in its year over year sales in the month of June 2019. 2,044 units of the newly introduced Bajaj Dominar 400 UG were sold in June 2019 in comparison to 816 units sold during the same period of time last year.

Bajaj Auto managed to sell 1,188 units of the 2019 Dominar 400 in the month of May 2019 compared to 1,191 units sold during the same month last year registering a 59 percent rise. The 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 UG is priced at Rs 1,74,125 (ex-showroom).

The motorcycle is known for its excellent value for money proposition and is currently available in two colour options including Auroral Green and Matte Black while Bajaj also has plans to introduce two more colour options soon.

Powering the 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 is a 373.3cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel injected DOHC unit. The unit produces about 40 PS of peak power at 8,650 rpm (5 PS more than its predecessor) and 35 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and it also gets a slip-assist clutch as standard.

The 2019 Bajaj Dominar has received some mechanical updates as well including an upside down forks that replaced the telescopic units at the front meanwhile a monoshock setup takes care of the rear. The braking duties of the motorcycle are handled by a 320mm disc brake at the front and a 230mm disc at the rear.

A dual channel ABS is also offered as standard. The new Dominar 400 UG also features an updated instrument cluster and a double barrel exhaust. Bajaj Auto claims that they have also made changes to the front LED headlamps and also the taillamps for better performance.

The motorcycle has also been fitted with a different side stand built out of forged steel. It gets an updated rear view mirror. For the convenience of the rider the motorcycle now also features a bungee strap positioned under the pillion seat.
