TVS Apache series has seen pretty good response from the Indian buyers within short span of time. The homegrown two-wheeler major was expected to showcase the updated Apache 180 at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo but it did not happen. However, its launch could finally be on the cards in a few days. It will likely come with significant updates to help it become much more appealing.

The 2018 TVS Apache RTR 180 comes powered by the same 177 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is coupled with a 5-speed transmission. No changes here as well as the 2018 TVS Apache RTR 180 will still likely run on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped with tubeless tyres. TVS Apache RTR 180 Facelift Design
In terms of design, the 2018 TVS Apache RTR 180 may come bearing the same basic silhouette of the pre-facelifted model. However, it will reportedly receive subtle styling updates in order to become much more appealing. It will certainly take design inspiration from the bigger sibling, the Apache RTR 200 4V. It is expected to adorn a larger headlamp with eyebrow like integrated LED daytime running lights.
A fully digital instrument cluster is also predicted to be there like the Apache RTR 200 4V. There is a 16-litre capacity sculpted looking fuel tank that enhances the bike’s appeal further. An ergonomically designed low positioned rider seat and revised side panels are the changes this bike will likely receive. At the back, it could get LED taillight along with a revised side-mounted exhaust unit.
