2018 Honda CD 110 Dream DX gets new golden graphics on fuel tank and body panels along with longer seat
Following the launch of updated Activa 125 with inclusion of LED headlamp earlier this month, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has now introduced the 2018 version of its CD 110 Dream DX commuter in the domestic market and is priced at Rs. 48,272 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
The Honda CD brand has been around since 1966 and it is responsible for million of commuting customers across the country. The new 2018 Dream DX version though has its roots back as far as the first Dream D bike launched in Japan in late ‘40s.
The 2018 CD 110 Dream DX is expected to build on the popularity of CD series in India by garnering more buyers in the rural area that are crucial for registering consistent sales number with better practicality and versatility. It comes equipped with improved cosmetics and gets new golden colour graphics on the side panels and fuel tank.
It is accompanied by chrome muffler protector and a rear carrier rack for heavy-duty purposes. To improve rider and pillion comfortability, the seat is now longer. Its utility status is further underlined by a key lock utility box. The new model is retailed in four different colour options such as black with cabin gold, black with green metallic, black with red or blue metallic, and black with grey silver metallic.
The 2018 Honda CD 110 Dream DX gets powered by a 110 cc air-cooled two-valve engine with Honda Eco Technology. It is good enough to produce a maximum power output of 8.31 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 9.09 Nm of peak torque delivered at 5,000 rpm. It is connected to a four-speed transmission.
It has a fuel tank capacity of 8 litres and the ground clearance stands at 179 mm while tipping the weighing scale at 109 kilograms. The main features of the new commuter are 86 kmph top speed, tubeless tyres, viscous air filter, maintenance free battery, 18-inch alloy wheels with 80-section tyres, 130 mm drum brakes on both ends, etc.
