2018 Ford Aspire Facelift gets a redesigned dashboard with a new touchscreen infotainment system, best in class dashboard?
As already reported Ford will launch the Aspire facelift sedan on 4th October in India. There are plenty of spy images which has revealed the car’s exterior while there are some which even revealed the car’s interior as well.
From the spy images, we can surely tell you that the Ford is going to offer one of the best interiors in its segment. To start things off the Aspire facelift sedan will feature a new two-tone black and beige interior theme.
The second most important feature which can be seen on the new Aspire sedan includes the addition of a new floating touchscreen infotainment system which can be seen on the new Ford Ecosport as well.
To fit the new bigger infotainment system Ford has repositioned the air vents to complete the change. Rest of the interiors remains almost identical to the pre-facelift variant. Apart from the interior changes and changes to the exterior which includes the addition of a new grille and redesigned bumpers.
The facelift sedan will also get a new 1.2-litre, 3 cylinder Dragon motor which can also be found under the hood of the recently launched Ford Freestyle. The engine produces about 96 Ps of peak power and 120 Nm of torque and is paired to a 5 speed MT.
While the diesel variant will continue to be powered by the same 1.5 Litre unit producing a healthy 100 ps of peak power and 215 Nm of torque. With these new changes made to the Aspire sedan, it will provide more value for money and will compete against the likes of Maruti Dzire and the Honda Amaze.
