Tata Tigor vs 2017 Maruti Suzuki Dzire – Specs Comparison

2017 Maruti Suzuki Dzire vs Tata Tigor will definitely not be a slow burner as both products are capable of setting new heights in the compact sedan segment

Tata Motors recently launched its latest offering in Indian market, the Tigor compact sedan that has grabbed everyone’s attention with the very stylish and unique design and upmarket features. Upon arrival, the sub-four meter compact sedan has brought freshness to the segment, which is ruled by the Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire (now Maruti Suzuki Dzire). Not only that, there are other tough models like the Hyundai Xcent, Honda Amaze and Ford Aspire are present as well. Therefore, with arrival of Tigor, the rivalry in the segment has intensified greatly.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire, the compact sedan sibling of the popular Swift hatchback has received its an all-new look in its new generation model. But, as Tata Motors has rolled out its Tigor compact sedan, the fresh looking car could throw challenge to the Dzire. Both the Tata Tigor and the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire brought a charming touch to the segment we would reckon.

Like the rest of the world, popularity of compact sedans is falling significantly in India, due to the rising demand of compact SUVs and crossovers. Despite being very budget focused, the customers are showing interest towards the premium cars in the country. While upgrading from their basic hatchbacks, they prefer to opt for premium hatchbacks or compact SUVs or crossovers more than the compact sedans.
