DSK Benelli in India is all set to revive its fortunes, sales, brand perception and much more to higher level. The motorcycle it has unveiled this time is the all new, DSK Benelli TRK 502 which makes its Indian debut for the first time. The motorcycle we have been waiting from other manufacturers, has been launched by Benelli. The Chinese owned giant is giving every motorcycle with a 500cc engine, which is the need of the hour in our country where is biking is growing exponentially
2016 Benelli TRK 502 comes with an parallel twin-cylinder, 4-valves per cylinder, 499cc engine that pumps out 47.6 HP of power and 45 Nm of torque. All of the power very interestingly comes at a very low RPM, which should make it a lot of fun! The engine has surprisingly large 4-litre engine oil capacity.
DSK Benelli TRK 502 comes with a twin tube steel tube frame aka a slightly cheaper substitute the more expensive trellis frame. Suspension wise, the front has 50 mm USD fork and the travel stands at a fairly high 150 mm. The rear suspension is mounted directly on the swingarm and the travel is also quite high at 144 mm.
DSK Benelli TRK 502 will come with ABS as standard. Meanwhile the brakes are 320 mm disc at the front and 260 mm disc at the rear. DSK Benelli TRK 502 will come standard with 17-inch wheels as stanadrd and a 19-inch wheel will be offered.DSK Benelli TRK 502 Dimensions stand at 2380 mm, 912 mm and 1465 mm in length, width and height respectively.
The seat height seems like the right balance for short and tall riders which stands at 815 mm. DSK Benelli TRK 502 has things going for it such as a massive ground clearance of 230 mm and more importantly, the DSK Benelli TRK 502 will get a fuel tank capacity of 20-litres!
