Lamborghini Revuelto boasts the most powerful V12 produced by the flamboyant Italian manufacturer and it has a combined power output of 1,015 PS

Lamborghini has unveiled a new hybrid supercar dubbed the Revuelto to replace the famed Aventador. It is the most advanced production Lambo with high-end technologies. It is equipped with the updated version of the 6.5L L545 V12 engine found in the Aventador and it produces 825 PS maximum power and 725 Nm of peak torque.

It is the most powerful V12 produced by the flamboyant Italian manufacturer. It works in tandem with a hybrid system comprising three electric motors (two driving the front axle and the one positioned with the new eight-speed DCT sending power to the rear wheels). The V12 engine only drives the rear wheels while the front is assisted by two electric motors making it an AWD system.

As for the design, it takes an evolutionary approach compared to the Aventador with the presence of a wilder front end with the Y-motif in the LED Daytime Running Lights and tail lamp graphics, chiselled body lines, aggressive cuts and creases, Y-shaped wheels, scissor doors, active rear wing, rear diffuser with increased downforce, etc.

The interior comprises a floating 12.3-inch digital instrument console, an 8.4-inch portrait-styled touchscreen infotainment screen, a flat-bottom steering wheel, a U-shaped reverse lever, 13 driving mode configurations, two rotary controls that help toggle between City, Strada, Sport and Corsa modes, and a lot more.

In the City mode, the front wheels are driven making it an EV. The combined power output of the hybrid system stands at 1,015 PS and with the help of the launch control, it can accelerate from zero to 100 kmph in just 2.5 seconds while the 200 kmph run would take less than 7 seconds. It has an electronically limited top speed of 350 kmph.

The numbers put it right up against Ferrari SF90 Stradale with a 0-100 kmph time of 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 340 kmph. Using a 7 kW supply, the 3.8 kWh battery charges in half an hour and the V12 engine can be used as a generator to replenish it in just 6 minutes. The safety package enables lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, etc.
