Toyota Rush And Vios Along With Lexus Brand Coming This Year, Fortuner and Innova on their way soon
Couple of months back Toyota said they will be focusing on the premium end of the market and they are continuing to do so. Sources from Toyota clearly indicated most of their plans in India with specifics. Toyota plans to enter mid and high end of the market and even above that with the upcoming products.
As rumored the Toyota Vios is all set to come to the market and challenge the likes of Hyundai Verna and Honda City as it will offer petrol and diesel engines with automatic transmission with good kit on board and most of all a better styling package which comes with Vios. The second car is the Toyota Rush which was caught being imported to India for testing reasons and now it is being confirmed for launch.

The Toyota Rush could be pumped to be slightly more premium. The Toyota Rush could get engines from the Etios Liva and could be pitted against famous Ford EcoSport. Both, the Toyota Vios and Toyota Rush will get standard ABS and Airbags on all variants continuing with the Toyota safety theme in India and around the world. What will not be coming mostly is the Etios sedan with a cross version that has been rumored since some time now.
As for other launches, Starting from 2016 till the year 2020 Toyota plans to launch 30 new products into the Indian market alone which will include Lexus high-end cars and probably a complete revamp of the all cars in the existing line up till date be will be refreshed including the upcoming Toyota Vios and Rush.
As For the Lexus brand, we expect to see the GS and LS sedans to come to India to challenge the likes of BMW 5 and 7-series and rivals in this category. The SUV segment is surely to come in India and the RX and LX will come to India challenging the likes of Audi Q7 and rivals in that category. More will follow over the years till 2020 and as of for now we wait for Vios to change market dynamics as competitors have no mercy and taken half the battle ground.
