Kawasaki Z800 Limited Edition Launched at Rs. 7.5 Lakh

Kawasaki Z800 Limited Edition dons new colour themes, but powertrain remains unchanged, and the special edition bike is available in only 10-units across India

Japanese two-wheeler maker Kawasaki has launched the Z800 Limited Edition in India at a price of Rs. 7.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is same like standard variant. The special edition model comes donning new colour theme, which set it apart from the standard variant. This special edition bike is available in only 10-units across India. With the launch of this special edition model the two-wheeler manufacturer expects sales boost during upcoming Diwali.

Kawasaki Z800 Limited Edition bike dons an attractive blue paint on the headlamp cowl, and it continues to fuel tank and tail section as well. The muscular and sculpted looking fuel tank gets black paint as well, while there are some little red and white stripes also, enhancing the visual appeal of the bike.

Talking about the new paint scheme, the special edition naked streetfighter also gets golden coloured upside down front forks. Wheel rims have received blue stripes as well, giving the bike an attractive appearance. While the new paint scheme has been applied to Kawasaki Z800 Limited Edition to set it apart from standard variant, powertrain of this bike remains unchanged.

Power source for Kawasaki Z800 Limited Edition is the same 806cc four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which is paired with a 6-speed transmission. This engine churns out 113 PS of peak power at 10,200 rpm and 83 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm. So far, performance of this bike remains unchanged like the standard variant.

Kawasaki Z800 Limited Edition runs on 17-inch black alloy wheels which are wrapped in meaty 120/70-ZR17 front and 180/55-ZR17 rear tyres, and both the wheels are fitted with disc brakes. Presently Kawasaki offers Z800 in black and green paint scheme in Indian market. The company imports Z800 from Thailand in India as CBU, and it has already announced that, it will replace Z800 with upcoming Z900 in future, which is expected to be unveiled at upcoming 2016 EICMA in Milan in November.
