Hyundai Motor’s luxury car brand Genesis has introduced a longer version of its first car Genesis EQ900, which is popularly known as Genesis G90. The new stretched version is christened as Genesis EQ900L, and expect it to be christened shortly as G90L. This car is directly challenging the Mercedes Maybach S-Class with its sheer luxury, comfort, style and power.

Dimensionally, the all new Genesis EQ900L sports a length of 5495 mm, width of 1915 mm. It comes with 1505 mm of height and a wheelbase of 3450 mm. The width is same as the Genesis G90, but the new car is 290 mm longer, 10 mm taller and sports 290 mm of longer wheelbase than the G90. All these dimensional expansion leads the new EQ900L to a more spacious, more comfortable and more luxurious car than the G90 is.

So, what are the features in this more luxurious car? It gets a full length centre console, dual reclining semi-aniline individual leather seats with expandable footrests, wooden garnishing, map pockets, mood lamp in the extended B pillar.

Presently, the G90 comes available in three different engine options, which are a 3.8 litre V6 petrol churning out 315 PS peak power, a 3.3 litre twin turbo V6 petrol producing 370 PS peak power and a larger 5.0 litre V8 unit which churns out 425 PS peak power. The new EQ900L on the other hand will get a single engine under the hood.

The car will get power from the 5.0 litre V8 petrol unit kicking out the same power output, and it will also get the All Wheel Drive (AWD) as standard. The new car would launch in North America later in 2016 as the Genesis G90L. No wonder, it will be giving the Mercedes Maybach S-Class run for money as the G90L is more affordable than the Mercedes Maybach developed luxury sedan.
