Yamaha India is planning to launch MotoGP Edition of R15 Version 3.0 in August. This is the first time, Yamaha is introducing MotoGP Edition in India and it is already available in some other Asian countries. Honda, the arch rival of Yamaha, had introduced CBR 250 Repsol Edition in India sometime back as a limited edition model and it was so popular among customers.
The MotoGP Edition model will be identical to the race bike as it is finished in racing blue colour and it gets Movistar logo on front and side along with ENEOS logo. The only thing misses on MotoGP Edition is the racing numbers of Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales. We can expect some customers to add the racing numbers and make them exactly similar to MotoGP bikes.

The stopping power comes from 282 mm front disc and 220 mm disc at rear. Yamaha hasn’t given ABS system on R15 Version 3.0 but we are expecting the company to introduce it as a model year update in 2019 before the deadline in April. The R15 Version 3.0 comes with telescopic front forks and mono suspension at rear which is tuned for handling.
