VinFast has increased the prices of both its electric SUVs in India, with the VF 6 getting a flat Rs 90,000 hike across all variants and the VF 7 becoming up to Rs 1.13 lakh more expensive. The revised prices are effective immediately, marking the second price revision for the two SUVs since their launch in India.
The VF 6 is now priced between Rs 18.19 lakh and Rs 20.09 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in three variants i.e. Earth, Wind and Wind Infinity. All three have received the same Rs 90,000 increase. The SUV uses a 59.6 kWh battery pack and a front-mounted electric motor, with the higher-powered versions producing 204 PS and 310 Nm.
The base VF 6 Earth produces 177 PS, while the Wind and Wind Infinity versions make 204 PS. VinFast claims a certified range of 468 km for the Earth variant and 463 km for the other two versions. The SUV also supports DC fast charging and can sprint from 0-100 kmph in around 8.9 seconds.
The VF 7, meanwhile, has received a more substantial revision. Depending on the variant, prices have gone up by Rs 1.10 lakh to Rs 1.13 lakh, taking its new price range to Rs 22.99 lakh – Rs 28.09 lakh. The SUV is offered in five variants i.e. Earth, Wind, Wind Infinity, Sky and Sky Infinity.

The entry-level VF 7 Earth gets a 59.6 kWh battery and a front-mounted motor producing 177 PS and 250 Nm, with a certified range of 438 km. The Wind and Wind Infinity versions use a larger 70 kWh battery and produce 204 PS and 310 Nm, while the range-topping Sky and Sky Infinity get an AWD dual-motor setup producing 353 PS and 500 Nm. These versions can accelerate from 0-100kmph in just 5.8 seconds and have a claimed range of 510 km.
Both SUVs continue to offer a fairly comprehensive equipment list, including ventilated front seats, a 12.9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, OTA updates, head-up display, wireless charging and an 8-speaker audio system. Safety equipment includes seven airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, a 360-degree camera and TPMS, while higher variants get a more extensive ADAS package. Both models have also received 5-star Bharat NCAP ratings.

The timing of the hike is worth noting. VinFast launched the two SUVs in India last year with introductory pricing, after which the company revised prices in January when those introductory offers ended. This latest increase now pushes both models further away from their original entry prices.
