The Bajaj Pulsar NS200, N250 and NS400Z could receive another round of updates soon as test motorcycles have revealed new equipment on all three models. The main common inclusion is a 5-inch TFT instrument console similar to the screen introduced on the Pulsar N160 SS. The updated motorcycles have already appeared during road tests which indicates that their market introduction may not be far away.
The new TFT should replace the existing instrument clusters across the trio. The screen on the N160 SS supports smartphone connectivity, Google Maps mirroring, music controls, third party notifications and document storage. The revised switchgear should also get a four-way controller for navigation through the display functions.
The 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 will gain the biggest revision as the test motorcycle featuring a WP upside-down front fork was spotted recently. The visible WP branding separates the new suspension from the 37 mm USD fork fitted to the current motorcycle. The test bike also gets adjustable brake and clutch levers as part of the equipment changes. However, the engine and remaining chassis components are not expected to get substantial updates.
The N250 has also appeared on test with a 5-inch TFT alongside an upside-down front fork. The current motorcycle already has a 37 mm USD setup and thus, the prototype points primarily to changes in instrumentation and switchgear. The existing N250 also gets traction control and multiple ABS modes. No engine revision is likely for this naked motorcycle too.
The NS400Z should receive the same instrument upgrade as Bajaj expands the 5-inch TFT across more Pulsars. The test mule also shows slightly revised colour treatments but substantial mechanical changes have not surfaced yet. The current model already gets four ride modes, traction control, a dual-channel ABS system, radial tyres and sintered front brake pads.
The TFT first reached the Pulsar range through the N160 SS before similar instrumentation arrived on the new Classic Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150. The NS200, N250 and NS400Z prototypes now indicate the next three motorcycles in line for the screen. The same display has also appeared on Bajaj’s upcoming dual-sport motorcycle.
The current NS200 has a 199.5 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 24.5 PS and 18.74 Nm through a 6-speed gearbox. The N250 uses a 249.07 cc oil-cooled single-cylinder engine rated at 24.5 PS and 21.5 Nm – coupled to a 5-speed transmission. The NS400Z sits above both models as its 349.13 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine kicks out 40.6 PS and 33.2 Nm through a 6-speed gearbox.
