2026 TVS Racing International Championship featured 14 riders from 12 nationalities and four continents aboard race-spec Apache RR 310 motorcycles

TVS Racing has made its European debut with the 2026 TVS Racing International Championship (TRIC) at the Misano World Circuit in Italy. The event took place between October 2 and 4 with 14 riders representing 12 nationalities from four continents. The participants competed aboard race-spec TVS Apache RR 310 motorcycles as the Indian manufacturer took its international racing championship to Europe for the first time.

The championship first took place in 2022 with participants from nine countries and has since attracted racers from 16 nations. Malaysia, Thailand, Japan and Indonesia hosted five rounds before the competition reached Italy this year. The Misano event became the championship’s first European round and its sixth international round since inception.

The race-spec TVS Apache RR 310 served as the competition motorcycle for the Italian round. The racing version features an upgraded aerodynamic package, increased engine output and revisions to its riding characteristics compared with the road going motorcycle. TVS Racing has developed the RR 310 through its participation in various racing championships with the motorcycle recording several notable lap times at international circuits.

The Apache RR 310 achieved a top speed of 215.9 kmph and recorded a lap time of 1:49.74 at Thailand’s Chang International Circuit in 2023. The motorcycle subsequently reached 216 kmph at the same venue in 2024 and improved its lap time to 1:48.44. The race-spec machine also recorded a lap time of 2:20.80 at Malaysia’s Sepang International Circuit during the 2024 season.

The Italian round featured three Indian racers namely Sarthak Chavan, Chiranth Vishwanath and Rakhsith Srihari Dave. The remaining participants represented Malaysia, Spain, Colombia, South Africa, Portugal, Thailand, Nicaragua, Vietnam, Mexico, Italy and Korea. The international grid gave competitors an opportunity to race against riders from different countries on the Misano circuit which regularly hosts international motorcycle racing events.

The European debut comes as TVS Motor has established operations in more than 90 international markets. The Apache motorcycle series has surpassed seven million customers worldwide and the Apache Owners Group has more than 5,00,000 members. The manufacturer has also expanded its international motorcycle portfolio in recent years with the Misano round adding a European venue to its racing calendar after five rounds across four Asian countries.

The company’s Head of Premium Business, Vimal Sumbly, said “The European debut of the TVS Racing International Championship is a defining milestone in our global racing journey. What began in 2022 as an Asia-focused championship with riders from nine countries has now evolved into a truly global platform with riders from 16 countries. Taking an Indian-origin championship to Europe reflects the strength of our racing pedigree, engineering and our ambition to compete on the world stage. This is ‘Track to Road’ in action taking our racing expertise from India to the world.”
