Toyota Rumion Festive Edition Launched With Free Accessory Package

Toyota Rumion Festive Edition gains elements from the Toyota Genuine Accessory (TGA) package for no added cost; no other changes have been made

Over the last week or so, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has been introducing new festive editions of its domestic portfolio. Following the launch of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Urban Cruiser Taisor and Glanza festive editions, the special variant has now been expanded to the Rumion MPV, which is the badge-engineered version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.

Just as with the other three models, the standard Toyota Rumion has gained an accessory package. The Rumion Festive Edition comes with elements from the Toyota Genuine Accessory (TGA) package which costs Rs. 20,608. As part of the Diwali offer, the Japanese auto major sells the package for free and it elevates the exterior and interior of the MPV.

The Toyota Rumion Festive Edition brings a range of enhancements such as mud flaps, floor mats, chrome visors for the doors, and a roof-mounted spoiler. Additionally, it includes new garnishes on the tailgate, rear bumper, headlights, number plate area, and body side moulding offering a refreshed appearance. It must be noted that this limited edition will be available only till the end of this month.

The Toyota Rumion Festive Edition is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine, available with either a five-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. In petrol mode, the MPV develops 102 bhp and 137 Nm of torque while the CNG version kicks out 87 bhp maximum power and 121 Nm of peak torque. A CNG variant is also on offer.

Toyota claims the petrol version delivers a mileage of up to 20.51 kmpl, while the CNG version offers an impressive 26.11 km per kg. Customers can select from three trims: S, G, and V. The standard model is currently priced between Rs. 10.44 lakh and Rs. 13.73 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Toyota Rumion comes equipped with features like six airbags, projector headlamps, two-tone alloy wheels, vertical tail lamps, cruise control, Toyota i-Connect technology, a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, automatic climate control and a height-adjustable driver seat.
