Tata Tigor has grabbed everyone’s attention with its exciting design language and features on offer. The compact sedan has so far been available only with a five-speed manual gearbox and the newly introduced AMT unit will certainly enhance the appeal of this car.
Apart from introducing new cars like Tiago, Tigor, Hexa and Nexon the automaker has also been focusing on their respective AMT. It has already revealed that 50% of its future products will carry AMT gearboxes alongside manual transmission.

Targeting young customer base, the Tata Tigor AMT features first-in-class Sports Mode and the addition of AMT will only strengthen the choices for owners as more people are leaning towards it. The Tigor AMT features four gear positions: automatic, neutral, reverse and manual.

Following the Tata Tiago AMT variant, the Tigor has now been given the AMT treatment and it will be followed by the Nexon. The subcompact sedan is made available in both petrol and diesel engine options.

The Tata Tigor compact sedan receives several upmarket features like Harman developed 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with ConnectNext, voice recognition, 8-speaker Harman surround sound system inside the cabin, etc. On the safety front, dual front airbags and ABS with EBD are standard across all variants. Tata Tigor range is priced aggressively between Rs. 4.65 lakh and Rs. 6.96 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
