Royal Enfield has introduced the 125th Anniversary Edition Hypershift Classic 650 in India at Rs. 4,25,589 (ex-showroom). The commemorative motorcycle celebrates the manufacturer’s Quasquicentennial year through an exclusive paint treatment, gold detailing and traditional craftsmanship. To maintain exclusivity, production is restricted to 125 units per key global region. Registrations are set to open at 2 PM IST on October 16, 2026 and the sale is scheduled for October 28. Deliveries will begin in November.
The Hypershift finish is the anniversary edition’s key visual enhancement. It incorporates a brass-inspired base that references Royal Enfield’s first motorcycles from 1901. Deep red, green and gold tones interact across the bodywork and their appearance changes based on the viewing angle and surrounding light. In addition, the multi-coloured treatment draws inspiration from the manufacturer’s historical paint schemes. The result is a distinctive finish that exhibits different shades across the fuel tank as light strikes its surface.
Royal Enfield has stayed put with the Classic 650’s teardrop fuel tank and traditional headlamp nacelle. The tank also features the manufacturer’s iconic cannon decal as a tribute to its 125-year history. Meanwhile, the side panel receives a gold cast commemorative crest and exclusive anniversary badging. Hand painted pinstripes provide another historical reference. A vintage-style brown leather single seat completes the unique equipment package and features intricate quilted stitching.
