New Maruti Suzuki Brezza Bookings Cross 60,000 Units In Just 6 Weeks

The updated compact SUV gained a new turbo Boosterjet engine, revised styling, more features and an updated S-CNG setup

Maruti Suzuki has crossed 60,000 bookings for the new Brezza in just six weeks since its launch as it has given the compact SUV a strong start in the market. The updated model arrived on July 24, 2026 and introduced a new 1.0-litre turbo Boosterjet petrol engine alongside the existing 1.5-litre K15C petrol motor and S-CNG powertrain.

The new Brezza starts at Rs. 7,39,900 for the Turbo Boosterjet range (ex-showroom). The Turbo Boosterjet engine produces 110.2 PS at 5,500 rpm and 170 Nm between 2,000 rpm and 3,500 rpm. It comes exclusively with a new six-speed manual gearbox and mild hybrid technology. Maruti Suzuki claims a fuel efficiency figure of 20.47 kmpl.

The K15C petrol engine develops 103.05 PS at 6,000 rpm and 139 Nm at 4,400 rpm and is available alongside six-speed manual and automatic transmissions. The petrol automatic also receives steering-mounted paddle shifters. The updated Brezza also receives a redesigned exterior. Changes at the front comprise a smoked chrome grille, metallic grey bull-bar and skid plate treatment alongside revised dual-tone side cladding.

New precision cut alloy wheels feature a sharper geometric design and Turbo Boosterjet versions carry dedicated branding. The colour palette expands through Vivacious Orange and Lustrous Beige alongside Pearl Bluish Black, Magma Gray, Sizzling Red, Splendid Silver and Pearl Arctic White. The cabin gains a dual-tone dark brown and black theme, leatherette upholstery and a 10.1-inch SmartPlay Pro X touchscreen infotainment system.

The setup offers built-in internet connectivity, more than 35 apps, OTA updates, Alexa voice assistance and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. Other additions comprise ventilated front seats, 64-colour ambient lighting, premium speakers, Surround Sense by Arkamys, a wireless smartphone charger featuring active cooling and a PM2.5 filter linked to an air-quality display.

Safety equipment sees a sizeable expansion as well. The new Brezza offers Blind Spot Warning with Lane Change Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, TPMS, Emergency Stop Signal and Exit Support Warning. The 360-degree camera system gains three additional views supported by front and rear parking sensors. The S-CNG version comes with an underbody CNG tank layout – retaining boot space and adding Idle Start-Stop technology.

It makes 103.05 PS and 139 Nm in petrol mode – dropping to 87.8 PS and 121.5 Nm in CNG mode with a claimed efficiency of 26.9 km per kg. The Brezza measures 3,995 mm long, 1,790 mm wide and 1,685 mm tall and has a 2,500 mm wheelbase. Maruti Suzuki also offers Turbo, Terrascape and Metroscape accessory packages.
