Honda is preparing to give the Elevate its first facelift since the SUV was launched in India in 2023. The updated model is expected to arrive in the coming months, with the latest reports pointing towards an October 2026 launch. This update comes at an important time for Honda, as the mid-size SUV segment has become increasingly competitive with newer products and frequent feature upgrades.
The facelift is expected to bring a mild design makeover rather than an entirely new look. Expect changes to the bumpers, alloy wheels and lighting elements, while the overall shape and proportions of the Elevate are likely to remain familiar. The tail-lamps could get revised lighting graphics, while the front end may receive subtle changes inspired by Honda’s newer global design language.
The cabin, however, could see more meaningful changes. Honda is expected to introduce a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen, similar to the unit seen on the updated City. New upholstery and cabin trim are also likely, helping the Elevate feel more contemporary without completely changing its dashboard layout.

More importantly, Honda could address some of the feature gaps that have become increasingly noticeable against rivals. The facelift is expected to get a 360-degree camera and ventilated front seats as factory-fitted features. Both are currently available on the Elevate through the accessory route, but Honda has indicated that it could move them into the main equipment list with the update.
The ADAS package could also receive an update. The current Elevate already gets Honda Sensing with features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist and autonomous emergency braking. With the new City receiving a more advanced Level 2 ADAS package, the facelifted Elevate is expected to get similar improvements, although the exact feature list and variant-wise availability have not been confirmed yet.

Under the bonnet, things are likely to remain the same. The Elevate facelift is expected to continue with the familiar 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, developing 121 hp and paired with a six-speed manual or CVT automatic. Earlier reports had speculated about a hybrid version, but current information indicates that the facelift will not introduce a hybrid powertrain.
The updated Elevate will continue to battle the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Maruti Victoris, Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun. Prices are expected to remain in the Rs 11 lakh to Rs 17 lakh range, although the final figures will only be revealed closer to launch.
