Ferrari has unveiled its newest one-off exclusive model called the Ferrari SP38 and it is part of the Special Projects division. Manufacturers, including supercar brands, have recently been endorsing hardcore variants of their top-notch vehicles through completely new line of badges.
The flamboyant Italian brand has now been lured into the same craze as the SP38 based on the 488 GTB will be delivered to its customer on May 26 at Villa d’Este. Despite being based on the road-going 488 GTB, the special version has a comprehensive exterior makeover to make it stand out from the rest of the lineup.

Moreover, one cannot help but think that the Ferrari SP38 appears a lot like a conceptual study than a regular supercar. It is a radical departure from the 488 GTB in several respects due to its cosmetic treatment. On the outside, it features strikingly new headlamps, carbon fibre elements, sporty side skirts, bold roofline, new set of wheels finished in silver, small side windows, etc.
The rear end complements the aggressive front and side profiles as it adorns body-coloured louvers replacing the engine cover, along with tail lamps hidden in the blackened grille. The dual exhaust pipes round out the highly impressive exterior. Although no pictures of the interior are out just yet, we can expect it to be equally bespoke and exclusive.
