
BMW Motorrad India has revised prices of the F 450 GS in India with all three variants now costing more than before. The Base and Exclusive versions have each received a Rs. 25,000 increase and the GS Trophy is dearer by Rs. 30,000. BMW’s official retail price list confirms the revised ex-showroom prices at Rs. 4.95 lakh for the Base, Rs. 5.15 lakh for the Exclusive and Rs. 5.60 lakh for the GS Trophy.
The Base variant previously cost Rs. 4.70 lakh (ex-showroom), which puts the latest increase at around 5.3 per cent. The Exclusive has moved from Rs. 4.90 lakh to Rs. 5.15 lakh (ex-showroom) – an increase of around 5.1 per cent. The GS Trophy has gone from Rs. 5.30 lakh to Rs. 5.60 lakh (ex-showroom) – the largest absolute revision at Rs. 30,000 and an increase of around 5.7 per cent.
The BMW F 450 GS uses a 420 cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine which is good enough to generate 48 bhp at 8,750 rpm and 43 Nm at 6,750 rpm. The adv gets a steel tubular trellis frame with KYB upside-down front forks and a directly linked KYB rear spring strut. Suspension travel stands at 180 mm while ground clearance is 220 mm. The motorcycle rides on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup with 100/90 R19 and 130/80 R17 tubeless tyres.

Braking is handled by a 310 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. The F 450 GS weighs 178 kg, has an 845 mm seat height and carries a 14-litre fuel tank. Equipment list comprises a colour TFT instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, traction control and multiple riding-related electronics with the GS Trophy adding adjustable Sport suspension, Gear Shift Assistant Pro and an Enduro Pro riding mode over the Base version.
BMW also offers a lower 830 mm seat as an option for riders who want easier reach to the ground. The more premium F 900 GS is currently priced at Rs. 16 lakh for Style Passion and Rs. 16.50 lakh for Style GS Trophy. The F 900 GS Adventure costs Rs. 17.50 lakh in Black and Rs. 18 lakh in White Aluminium Metallic Matt.
The R 1300 GS range stretches from Rs. 24 lakh to Rs. 28.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The same official list prices the R 1300 GS Adventure from Rs. 26.50 lakh for Racing Red to Rs. 30.05 lakh for the Option 719 version with Auto Shift. BMW also lists the C 400 GT from Rs. 11.50 lakh, CE 04 from Rs. 15.25 lakh, S 1000 R from Rs. 22.25 lakh, R 12 from Rs. 22.50 lakh and R 12 nineT from Rs. 23.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
