Apple is finally listening to the customers as the company has revealed at WWDC 2018 that the CarPlay will support Google Maps and Waze. Apple CarPlay debuted in 2014 and since then customers have been complaining about the navigation system. If you want to use navigation, then the system will only use Apple Maps which is the Default app of iPhone.
Even though Apple Maps has come a long way since its launch but it is not able to match the perfection of Google Maps as it is in the market for more than 13 years and comes with huge data collection of Google which Apple won’t be able to match. The Waze is also coming from Google which include crowd sourced information like traffic and accident reports.
