Hero has teased an updated Xtreme, Bajaj is refreshing its Pulsar 200s, and Harley-Davidson is preparing a more traditional 440cc cruiser

The next couple of months are going to be interesting for motorcycle enthusiasts. Hero MotoCorp has teased a new Xtreme, Bajaj is preparing updates for two of its popular Pulsars, and Harley-Davidson has offered another glimpse of the Sprint 440. There is also Bajaj’s first adventure motorcycle to look forward to. Here is what we know about these five upcoming bikes.

1. Hero Xtreme 160R 4V

Hero MotoCorp has released a teaser for what appears to be an updated Xtreme 160R 4V. The teaser reveals little beyond the motorcycle’s exhaust and rear section, but it suggests that the company is preparing another update to its sporty commuter.

A TFT instrument console is among the expected additions, although Hero has not confirmed the equipment list. The existing Xtreme 160R 4V already offers features such as ride modes, USD front forks and a drag timer. The upcoming version could build on this package with revised styling and more modern instrumentation. An official launch date and pricing are yet to be announced.

2. Harley-Davidson Sprint 440

The Sprint 440 could be the more traditional Harley-Davidson that some buyers have been waiting for. Unlike the roadster-style X440, the new motorcycle has a long, low stance, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, swept-back handlebars and a deeply scooped rider seat.

It is expected to use the familiar 440cc, single-cylinder engine producing 27 hp and 38 Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox. Hero MotoCorp will manufacture the motorcycle in India. The Sprint 440 is expected to arrive towards the end of 2026, although its price and final specifications remain under wraps.

3. Updated Bajaj Pulsar NS200

Bajaj is giving the NS200 a substantial equipment upgrade, and bookings have reportedly opened at select dealerships ahead of its launch. The updated motorcycle gets a 5-inch TFT display, a quickshifter, four riding modes and traction control. Other additions include radial tyres, adjustable levers and a USB Type-C charging port. A new Nardo Grey colour has also been spotted.

The existing 199 cc liquid-cooled engine is expected to continue, with reports pointing to a slight increase in output to 25.5 hp. The updated NS200 should reach dealerships shortly, with prices likely to rise from the current model’s level.

4. Updated Bajaj Pulsar RS200

The fully faired RS200 is next in line for an upgrade. Test mules have been spotted with USD front forks and a 5-inch TFT instrument console, bringing the motorcycle closer to the newer Pulsar models in terms of hardware and technology.

Current RS 200

The 199.5cc liquid-cooled engine is expected to remain unchanged, producing 24.5 hp and 18.7Nm. The update could also bring revised switchgear and adjustable levers. With the RS200 having received a styling and display update in 2025, the addition of new suspension hardware would be a more significant change to its package.

5. Bajaj Adventure Bike

Bajaj’s first adventure motorcycle has been spotted testing in India and Brazil. The prototype features an upright riding position, a front beak, fork gaiters and wire-spoke wheels, suggesting that it will be aimed at riders who want something more capable on broken roads and light trails than a conventional street bike.

It is expected to use a 249 cc air/oil-cooled engine, potentially derived from the Pulsar N250, which produces 24.5 PS and 21.5 Nm. A TFT display has also been spotted on test bikes. The motorcycle could arrive towards the end of 2026 or in early 2027, with pricing expected to keep it accessible against established adventure bikes.
