The much anticipated Volkswagen T-Cross SUV is expected to make global debut at the upcoming Paris Motor Show this October. Going by the development on the test prototypes, we cannot argue against its launch speculations. Recently caught testing in Europe, the T-Cross does indeed adorns several design elements from the concept it is based on.
The exterior of the production Volkswagen T-Cross SUV is more conventional and looks a lot more like a smaller sibling of the Tiguan. Up front, it features a headlamp unit similar to that of the Tiguan while the grille has triple horizontal slats. It has a sporty overall profile with short overhangs while the rear-end was concealed from public viewing.

As for the transmissions, the T-Cross will likely get six-speed manual or a dual-clutch automatic. Volkswagen is banking on new SUVs to increase its global sales and T-Cross is tipped to play a major role in it. It has all the ingredients to target emerging markets and a derivative of it could make its way into India in the near future.
