Hyundai has lifted the veils off the facelift i20 for the European market. Even though the styling changes mimic more or less of the latest Elite i20 sold in India, it comes equipped with several new features and technologies in comparison.
Slated to enter Europe in late 2018, the hatchback receives minor changes to the front fascia with a modified front bumper accompanying the now-signature cascading grille. The bumper at the rear is brand new, as does the hatch area housing the number plate and the tail lamps.

The cabin gets a number of new additions including a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity while the GPS navigation system and Live Services are restricted to the top-end variants.
The Euro-Spec 2018 Hyundai i20 derives power from a 1.0-litre engine, which is good enough to produce a maximum power output of 100 PS and 120 PS in two states of tune. A slightly bigger 1.2-litre unit can also be ordered and it develops only 75 PS and 84 PS in two configurations. In the 100 PS version, a new seven-speed dual-clutch transmission has been offered.
