We have seen parking assist on cars for some time now. Even though these systems have become so advanced, we didn’t see this on a two wheeler. According to Bikewale, TVS is developing parking assist for its new range of electric scooters. This will help the rider to park scooter easily in tight parking spots. The park assist feature will only work after checking the vehicle speed, throttle and brake condition.
The forward moving assist work only when the throttle is opened and the speed should be less than 6 kph. The reverse assist work when the speed is at 0 kmph and brakes shouldn’t be used. Then the computer will check whether the rear wheel has moved more than 90 degrees. The parking assist will automatically reverse the scooter at 3-4 kmph. When the rider is using Parking Assist, then the hazard lights will be automatically on and the instrument cluster will display a message that Park Assist system in use.

The Creon is a performance electric scooter and it comes with 3 lithium ion batteries producing combined output of 16 hp of power. The company hasn’t revealed details of torque output. According to TVS, Creon can do 0-60 kmph in 5.1 sec and the range is 80 km. The battery can be charged up to 80 percent in 60 minutes.

The design of Creon concept is very attractive and we hope that TVS will continue with the same design theme for the production version. TVS Creon comes with features like diamond cut alloy wheels with Remora tyres, LED lights at front and rear, underseat storage, disc brakes at front and rear and single channel ABS system. The Creon uses telescopic front suspension and mono suspension at rear for bike like riding dynamics. We are expecting TVS to launch Creon soon in India.
