Toyota sells the Fortuner SUV in Argentina as SW4 and it has received a brand new special edition called the Diamond. It has been introduced in Argentina before reaching other South American markets and it features plenty of cosmetic upgrades and interior tweaks along with more equipment on-board.
The Japanese manufacturer uses the TRD kit to enhance the sportiness of its standard models but limited editions like the Diamond would not shy away from approaching customers either. Only available in seven-seater version, it is priced at ARS $12,23,700 (Rs. 39.44 lakh).

Perhaps, the most distinguishing feature of them all is the stylish 18-inch Luxury alloy wheels and it complements the black bumper guard as well as the Diamond logo positioned below the tail light. Toyota says the SW4 Diamond’s cabin is finished in upmarket materials such as Luxury leather seat upholstery.

It is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all the four wheels. Whether, the Diamond Edition will arrive at Indian shores or not is yet unknown but it could become a worthy addition like the Touring Sports edition of Innova Crysta. In the domestic market, the Fortuner is retailed in six variants with on-road prices between Rs. 30 lakh and Rs. 38 lakh. It uses a 2.7-litre petrol and a 2.8-litre diesel engine.
