Tesla Model 3 is the next big thing from the American electric vehicle manufacturer. Unveiled last year, the electric compact sedan has been going through testing for quite some time and it is currently gearing up for production. Before the car’s production begins, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has confirmed that only the early buyers will get chance to choose from exterior colour options and wheel size options.
Tesla Model 3 will come available in two different configurations. Therefore expect the car to be available in two different exterior colour choices, while the wheel size options will be two as well. The American EV maker is expecting with this strategy, the company will be able to increase the production of the Model 3 quickly.

However, Tesla CEO has also said that the comp-any will make these choices available for the buyers at later stage as well. But he didn’t confirm the time for that. Tesla received impressive amount of of Model 3 booking from the buyers across the world. Interestingly, this is going to be the first EV in India from the brand, as several Indians also booked the car.
This upcoming EV has been sold out for the full production year and deliveries are expected to commence from late 2017. The car is likely to enter production from this July and deliveries against new booking will begin from mid 2018. Also, the Tesla Model 3 is expected to become the bestselling model from the brand as this is going to be the most affordable car from the company.

It would play a very crucial role for Indian market, as this car is expected to boost the electric vehicle drive in the country. Also, depending on the success of the Tesla Model 3, the American brand is expected to set up a production plant in India that will work as the Asian hub for it.
