Royal Enfield officially revealed new Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650 at EICMA last year. The most important announcement was the new 650 cc engine as it will be used on lots of different products from Royal Enfield in future. The company earlier announced that they would launch Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650 in the first half of this year after the global launch.
Initially, Royal Enfield will launch both these products in International markets like UK and Australia. Then the company will increase production to meet the domestic demand they expect after launching the new models in India. But the plan didn’t worked accordingly as the company is yet to launch these products globally.

According to recent reports, Royal Enfield is taking some time as they don’t want to create problems happened with Himalayan as the company was so eager to launch the bike it had so many complaints. So many owners complained about the issues and Royal Enfield had to temporary stop sales to bring the updated Himalayan to the market.

When asked about price of these motorcycles, Siddharth Lal said that you will be positively surprised. If we go by the price of earlier Continental GT models, we can expect the price to start by 2.99 lakhs (Ex-Showroom) which will make more attractive to lots of customers. These bikes are manufactured in India and exported to global markets.
