Honda officially launched second generation Amaze last month in India at the starting price of Rs. 5.60 lakhs. The new Amaze was first unveiled at the 2018 Auto Expo and the company had worked extremely hard to price the new model extremely well. Honda priced the new Amaze head on against Dzire which shows the confidence of the company on new product.
In the recent time, top end variant is the most popular choice of buyers. To capitalize on this, Honda priced the Amaze top end variant significantly lower than Dzire in both petrol and diesel model. Another advantage for Honda is that Amaze is the only model in its segment to come with diesel CVT gearbox which is much more advanced than AMT on Dzire.
