Land Rover has unveiled the Range Rover SV Coupé at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show and the limited production run model is claimed to be the world’s first full-size luxury SUV coupé. Developed by Land Rover Design and SVO division (Special Vehicle Operations), the SV Coupé is an exclusive model and is limited to just 999 units.
With a two-door silhouette, this four-seat coupé alludes modern and contemporary design. It boasts signature floating roof, flowing waist lines and tapering tail along with elegant power-close doors with frameless glass, panoramic roof, new Contour Graphic in four dual-tone colourways, unique side vent and grille design topped off by 23-inch wheel option.

Prospective clients can register their interest now on at the brand’s official website and it has been announced that the prices will start from £240,000 (Rs. 2.17 crore approx) in the UK. Buyers can choose between four front-to-rear contrast interior colourways or from a range of single-tone interior colours. Besides three elegant wood veneers, including Nautica which balances heritage craftsmanship and new technology by fusing walnut and sycamore, the Ranfe Rover SV Coupe can be had in optional paint finishes like Liquesence – a liquid metal finish on a Range Rover vehicle for the first time.

The SV Coupé is also the fastest full-size Range Rover ever and uses a 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 petrol powertrain producing 565 PS and 700 Nm. It is mated to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission with rotary drive selector and paddle-shift. That limited edition model does 0-100 kmph in just 5.3 seconds and has a top speed of 165 mph (266 kmph). Permanent four-wheel drive with a two-speed transfer box and Active Locking Rear Differential is assisted by Terrain Response 2 featuring Dynamic, Eco, Comfort, Grass Gravel Snow, Mud and Ruts, Sand and Rock Crawl modes.
