Land Rover is working on the next generation Defender and for the first time, its test mule has been spotted. However, the vehicle has been spotted testing with a Range Rover skin on it. While the car will surely come wearing a new design and incorporating advanced off-roading technologies compared to its predecessor, don’t be fooled by the spy image thinking this is going to be the actual model.
The new Land Rover Defender will surely come continuing its rugged and muscular stance, but there will be significant changes. Compared to its predecessor, the new model will certainly bear suaveness. The SUV is expected to make public appearance next year before it goes on sale commercially in 2019.

Major engineering developments of the car are complete already and now the British marquee is working on fine tuning the things. This means, the SUV is currently in its final stage of development phase. As the auto manufacturer claims, the new model will arrive as very promising and very stylish compared to the old one.

Despite immense capability, Land Rover once decided to Defender model forever, but later dismissed the plan. Despite the low sales in recent years, this car didn’t lose the appeal to the off roading enthusiasts. Bringing the new model around three years after discontinuing the previous one is a part of strategy to boost its appeal again.
As it appears, the British marquee has been successful in its strategy in boosting the query about the new Defender. Speaking about the car, we can assume it will arrive with more luxury along with the practicality of off roading. However, the brand is yet to reveal details about the model.
