Land Rover has announced that the Range Rover Autobiography by SVO Bespoke is made available for customers in the domestic market for a limited number of units. Based on the long wheelbase version of the 2017 Range Rover, it should not be mistaken for the new SVAutobiography introduced at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show. It adorns the looks and features of the facelifted Range Rover which is expected to launch sometime next year in India.
The price of the bespoke Autobiography should be more than Rs. 1.66 crore (ex-showroom, pan India) which is the base cost of the regular Range Rover. It comes as a limited edition with good levels of customisation. It carries all the more importance as it is designed and developed by the Bespoke division of the Special Vehicle Operations (SVO). It is provided with two paint schemes: Black and Blue.

Some of the important features of the Range Rover Autobiography by SVO Bespoke are body-coloured ORVM housings, exterior accent pack and 21-inch or 22-inch alloy wheels as standard as far as exterior is concerned. On the inside though, it comes finished in leather with Kalahari veneer on the centre console and comprises of two electronically adjustable seats with massage function at the rear, Bespoke by SVO badging and a cooler box among others.
As for the powertrain, the exclusive variant can be had in either of two engine options: a 4.4-litre SDV8 diesel and a 5.0-litre supercharged V8. The former is good enough to produce a maximum power of 335 bhp and the latter makes 543 bhp and 680 Nm torque and can accelerate from zero to 100 kmph in just 5.4 seconds.

Interested buyers can book the vehicle at their nearest local dealerships or place an appointment at Bespoke commissioning facility in Warwickshire, United Kingdom. Only five units of the Range Rover Autobiography by SVO Bespoke have been allotted for India. JLR has introduced the Velar in the Indian market yesterday and it’s more accessible with three engine options and a rather competitive price range.
