Suzuki officially revealed second generation of Ertiga last month in Indonesia. We have already seen many renderings of new Ertiga in sporty and muscular form. The latest rendering is different as it shows the Ertiga in base variant. Usually manufacturer reveals top end variants at the Expo and we will able to see other variants only when the model reaches dealerships. The sales of Ertiga are yet to commence in Indonesia.
The base variant misses out on body coloured bumper as it is finished in black colour and the chrome strip on the grille is smaller compared to top end variant. The headlamp misses out projector and LEDs as they get regular halogen bulbs and fog lamps also miss out. On the side, body coloured handle bar and mirrors are missed and instead they are finished in black colour. The alloy wheels are replaced by smaller steel wheels. At the rear, Suzuki has given black colour for bumper and spoiler won’t be available on the base variant.

Maruti Suzuki commenced the road testing of second generation Ertiga. The new design of new model is evolutionary but the design takes cues from other popular model. The front headlamp design is inspired from Toyota Innova Crysta while the rear tail lamp looks similar to Volvo’s. But all these design elements work together and give a good design theme for Ertiga.
