Yamaha Saluto disc brake variant comes, as the fight against competition intensifies, priced at Rs 54,500/-

Yamaha as we all know is now more focused on commuter end of the market. After giving us entry level sports, it is concentrating on scooter and 100cc+ motorcycles. The Yamaha Saluto is one of them. Launch recently, it came with a brand new engine with a displacement of as 125cc engine. The engine is peppy motor and has excellent drievability.

However, when it comes to brake, the front drum as we know is pointless. Rear brakes do most of the job all the time like any other commuter, but Yamaha has taken the step and given the Saluto the disc brake option. Yamaha Saluto Disc Brake Variant comes at a price of Rs. 54,500/- which is 2,500 over the drum variant. Yamaha Saluto Disc Brake Variant does offer some serious value and safety to its customer with such little difference to choose from. Stopping power should be excellent of the bike as all ready the bike weighs almost 11 kgs less than its nearest competition at 113 KG.

All said and done, Yamaha has taken the opportunity to introduce four new colors to the Yamaha Saluto Disc Brake Variant. The color pattern resembles to the Yamaha FZ-S variants. Dual color pattern with white, green, purple and black. All these are colors matched to gold, black, blue and red respectively.

Remind you off the specs. Power comes from Blue Core tech engine that produces 8 BHP and 10 Nm of torque from its engine. Powered is channeled to the rear wheels from a 4-speed gearbox. Claimed mileage is of 74 km/l. Drum variant pricing starts from 52,000 which undercuts the competition very well.
