Hyundai Creta Sport gets glossy Black exterior elements, new roof spoiler, 17-inch sporty alloy wheels and an all-black interior

Hyundai Creta is a compact SUV that specially developed for the emerging markets like India and Brazil. Both in India and in Brazil, this car has earned positive response within short span of launch. Now, the South Korean auto major has introduced a new variant of the SUV in Brazil that is christened as Creta Sport.

The Hyundai Creta Sport comes as an accessorised and stylized version of the regular model. It gets several glossy black exterior elements along with a black roof spoiler. It runs on new design sporty 17-inch alloy wheels. The SUV features glossy black border highlighting the black hexagonal front grille, black skid plate, black side cladding, and glossy black ORVMs.

The floating roof design thanks to the blackened A and B pillars enhance its style further. The roof bars and shark fin antenna too wears shiny black paint scheme. Moving to the back of the SUV, it sports a shiny black roof spoiler. Apart from these elements, the basic design remains same as the regular model.

Not only exterior, inside the cabin too Hyundai Creta Sport wears an all-black theme increasing the sportiness of the SUV. It gets black leather and fabric seats, black headliner and a large 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system at the centre console with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Dimensionally, the Creta Sport comes same as the standard model.

On the powertrain front, it gets a 2.0-litre flex-fuel engine that is capable of generating 156 hp and 188 Nm of peak torque while running on petrol. It can produce 166 hp of peak power and 201 Nm of peak torque while running on diesel. Transmission duty is done by a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Hyundai will start selling the Creta Sport in Brazilian market in November. Pricing of this variant is yet to be announced. Considering the fact that Hyundai has achieved success with Creta in India, we can expect it to be launched in India as well.
