The rendering shows Suzuki Swift Sport with extensive aftermarket modifications; gets aero kits and wider tyres

Suzuki has garnered pretty much attention with its all-new Swift Sport that was displayed at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. We have every reason to be excited, as this could be launched in Indian market as well in near future considering the Swift’s popularity, growing demands for sporty upmarket cars and Maruti Suzuki’s strategy to focus on unique performance focused models. But, here we have a rendered image that imagines the Swift Sport in a track ready and more aggressive avatar.

The rendered image shows the car with several aero kits across the body. Starting from front, there is a black splitter at the bottom, blackened fog lamp housing, black trim at the headlamps giving them a smoked look. Apart from that, the black front grille with horizontal slats appears same as the regular model.

Moving to the side profile, the rendered image shows the car with wider tyres wrapped around deep dish sporty alloy wheels. Also, there are black side splitter, special body graphics, revised fenders, dual-tone paint scheme with the glass area and roof blackened out contrasting with the red painted car. The ORVM caps too come wearing all-black look.

The sporty roof spoiler at the back of the car enhances its appeal further. There could be a tweaked bumper as well. Overall, the entire hatchback appears very aggressive, very sporty and features a track ready stance that really attracts us. So far, it looks a realistic deal.

The 2018 Suzuki Swift Sport gets a very interesting interior with flat-bottom steering wheel, red trims at various places and contrast stitching. It gets energy from an updated 1.4-litre turbocharged K14C Boosterjet four-cylinder petrol engine under the hood. This motor is capable of churning out 140 PS of peak power at 5,500 rpm and 230 Nm of peak torque between 2,500 rpm and 3,500 rpm. Transmission options for the car include a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic unit as well.
