Volkswagen Polo ALLSTAR Edition sports new Silk Blue colour borrowed from Ameo alongside other cosmetic updates

Volkswagen has unveiled the Polo ALLSTAR Edition on its official website in India, and price of the car will be announced soon ahead of upcoming Diwali. The car is expected to be priced Rs. 20,000 extra over the Highline variant, which is priced at Rs. 7.02 lakh and Rs. 8.50 for the petrol and diesel powered models respectively.

Volkswagen Polo ALLSTAR Edition receives several cosmetic updates and an all-new exterior paint scheme. It dons Silk Blue exterior colour, which has been borrowed from its compact sedan sibling Ameo. Also other updates include new sporty alloy wheels, ‘ALLSTAR’ badge at B pillar and scuff plate as well. Apart from that, the silhouette of Volkswagen Polo ALLSTAR Edition is identical to the standard variant.

Dimensionally also, upcoming special edition model remains identical to the standard variant. The five-door hatchback measures 3,971mm in length, 1,682mm in width, 1,469mm in height, and 2,469mm of wheelbase. It also features a ground clearance of 165mm.

Interior of Volkswagen Polo ALLSTAR Edition has received several updates also, which set it apart from the standard variant. It gets dual tone finish inside the cabin, and new upholstery with contrast stitching. Also the special edition of this upmarket hatchback receives front armrest with storage, rear AC vents. The pedals get a metallic finish, which adds on zing to the interior giving them a sporty feel. Volkswagen Polo ALLSTAR Edition is expected to come with more updates, which would be revealed, once the car gets launched.

While exterior and interior of Volkswagen Polo ALLSTAR Edition come with several updates, powertrain options remain same. It gets both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine is a 1.2-litre MPI engine which churns out 74 bhp of peak power and 110 Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, 1.5-litre TDI diesel engine kicks out 89 bhp of peak power and 230 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duty is done by a 5-speed manual gearbox in both variants.
