Vespa Elegante 150 Special Edition comes in new Beige Unico and Pearl White; gets style enhancing additional accessories
Vespa has announced the launch of a new special edition scooter in India, the Vespa Elegante 150 CC. Said to celebrate the spirit of life and freedom, the brand lauds that it symbolizes elegance, style and sophistication. The new limited edition Vespa is claimed by Vespa to create a benchmark in the premium scooter category in the Indian scooter market.
It is now exclusively available at Motoplex stores and Vespa/Aprilia dealerships across the nation. Priced at Rs. 95,077 (ex-showroom Pune), the scooter Vespa Elegante 150 CC is sold in two colour options namely the new Beige Unico and Pearl White.
Vespa says the Italian craftsmanship in the new special edition and the design aesthetics will appeal to the enthusiasts. It is inspired by the pristine beauty of Italian beaches that reflect on the two paint schemes. It comes equipped with colour co-ordinated twin leather finished seats, tinted fly screen and an exclusive ‘Elegante Badge’.
No mechanical changes have been implemented as the Elegante takes power from the regular 150 cc single-cylinder petrol engine. It is good enough to produce a maximum power output of 11.40 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 11.50 Nm of peak torque delivered at 5,500 rpm.
The air-cooled carburettor based motor is connected to a CVT automatic transmission sending power to the wheel. The Motoplex Stores offer the full range of brands from the group such as Piaggio, Vespa, Aprilia and Moto Guzzi while selling official apparel, accessories and helmets.
The Vespa Elegante Will also be available online through PayTm where enthusiasts can avail exciting cash back offers.
