The updated version of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 will likely get cosmetic revisions and new features; no powertrain changes are expected

Following the launch of its second 450 cc offering, the Guerrilla 450, Royal Enfield is all geared up to introduce the updated version of the highly popular Classic 350 in India. Scheduled for launch on August 12, 2024 the brand has not yet revealed what the updates will be but we suspect that cosmetic changes will be implemented as part of the mid-cycle revisions.

Royal Enfield has an assortment of new motorcycles waiting in the pipeline as the launch of the updated Classic 350 will be followed by the new Bullet 350, Hunter 350 and Meteor 350 with similar revisions in the near future. In addition, new 450 cc and 650 cc motorcycles are also being tested in India as well as abroad as this FY is turning out to be a busy one for RE.

The 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 marks the first major update for a J-series platform based motorcycle. The latest retro roadster has garnered positive customer feedback since its launch in late 2021 and its entry-level middleweight siblings have also been well received. Carrying the momentum, we expect Royal Enfield to introduce new paint schemes, new equipment, and updated body graphics. A set of new accessories could also debut.

The Classic 350 is retailed in an expansive range, priced between Rs. 1.93 lakh and Rs. 2.24 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated model could receive a minor price hike accompanying the changes.

Barring the Redditch, the Chennai-based manufacturer sells other variants of the Classic 350 with dual-channel ABS system. The Halcyon, on the other hand, can be had with both single- and dual-channel ABS systems. Only the Classic Dark is available with alloy wheels. A total of 15 colour combinations are available with the existing Classic 350.
