Updated Hyundai Creta gets Earth Brown paint scheme, leather wrapped steering, updated fabric, contrast stitching and new interior colour theme
Hyundai has silently launched updated Creta in India with minor updates. The SUV now comes wearing new exterior colour and several updates inside the cabin that all make the popular SUV more appealing. With all these updates, Hyundai enhances the appeal of this SUV right ahead of its competitor Renault Captur’s launch in the country.
Speaking about the updates, Hyundai Creta receives a new Earth Brown exterior colour scheme. This new exterior paint replaces the Pearl Beige theme. Also, the Red Passion with Phantom Black dual-tone paint scheme has been discontinued as well. Now, the SUV comes available in seven different single tone colour options alongside two dual-tone paint scheme options.

The SX+ dual-tone variant of Hyundai Creta has received a Luxure Brown interior theme pack that includes new colour scheme, updated seat fabrics along with leather wrapped steering wheel with sporty contrast stitching. The seats too come wearing contrast stitching and dual-tone theme. The gear lever too comes wearing brown accents. Apart from these updates, the SUV doesn’t get any feature update or design change.
On the mechanical front too, Hyundai Creta appears same as the pre-update model. It is available with one petrol and two diesel engine options. The petrol model gets power from a 1.6-litre Gamma engine, while on the diesel front it gets a 1.4-litre unit and a 1.6-litre motor as well. Transmission options include both manual and an automatic gearbox.

Hyundai is currently gearing up to introduce the facelifted Creta in Indian market that comes with several design changes and updated features as well. The car has been already revealed in global market and it is expected to arrive here sometime next year. The SUV is currently priced between Rs. 9.29 lakh and Rs. 14.55 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Expect the upcoming facelifted model to arrive priced slightly premium over the current Creta.
