3Hyundai Carlino Based Sub-4M SUV
Hyundai Carlino was the most attractive concept showcased at the 2016 New Delhi Auto Expo and the South Korean auto major has already cleared its ambition to launch couple of new SUVs in the country and one of them is going to be the based on the concept. We could see the production variant of the Carlino based SUV at the 2018 New Delhi Auto Expo.
Upon its arrival, this compact SUV will be positioned below Creta and it will lock horns with rivals like Vitara Brezza and EcoSport. It will be based on the flexible i20 architecture and it will be designed following the Korean auto manufacturer’s latest Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language that is also incorporated in several other models from the brand. The car will be offered as a front wheel drive vehicle upon its launch.

As the concept was displayed, the production model could get sharp headlamps with LED daytime running lights, large front grille, muscular bumper and rectangular fog lamp. To emphasize on the SUV’s tough character it gets a skid plate as well. At the side profile, this car is expected to boast large alloy wheel, turn indicator integrated ORVM and sharp character lines.
Interestingly, there was no B pillar in the concept model and the positioning of the door handles were unique indeed. It will be very ambitious to expect the same design to be continued in the production model, but if Hyundai really carries the same styling in the production model, that will be a significantly new stylish indeed.

Rear fascia of the car could come with a roof spoiler, compact taillights and a muscular bumper along with a skid plate. The interior of the Carlino production model will surely bear several attractive features and in terms of space and comfort too, this car won’t disappoint the Indian customers.
