The automotive market is currently enjoying strong demand and a number of brands are currently expanding and updating their portfolio to attract more buyers. As many as five new cars will soon be launched in the country under Rs 10 lakh and here are all the details that you should check out.
Expected Price: Rs 8 Lakh (ex-showroom)
The new Maruti Baleno-based YTB SUV is expected to make its debut at the Auto Expo 2023 and will offer a premium package along with updated powertrain options for buyers. If reports are to be believed, the new YTB is likely to be offered with a 1.0L Boosterjet mild-hybrid petrol engine in addition to the 1.2L NA petrol engine that we also get with the Baleno.
Expected Price: Rs 6-7 lakh (ex-showroom)
The new Maruti Swift takes on the rivals like the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and is currently one of the best-selling hatchbacks in the Indian market. The brand is currently working on the next-gen iteration of the hatchback which is expected to make its debut in late 2022 or early 2023.
Expected Price: Rs 5-6 lakh (ex-showroom)
The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is currently one of the most affordable Hyundai cars in India and is soon due for a mid-life update. While the Grand i10 Nios facelift will continue to get the same powertrain options, the Korean carmaker is expected to offer it with subtle styling tweaks, new features, and an updated cabin to attract the customers. Reports suggest that Hyundai might launch the new Grand i10 Nios Facelift in the first half of 2023.
Expected Price: Rs 10-12 lakh (ex-showroom)
The Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus is expected to make its debut in early 2023 and will be offered with new seating layouts and new powertrain options for the buyer. From what we know so far, the new Bolero Neo Plus will get the same 2.2L mHawk diesel engine that we get with the Thar while the buyers will have an option to choose from the 7-seats and 9-seats layout. It will have a significantly larger footprint when compared to the Bolero Neo.

Maruti Suzuki is currently working on a new Baleno-based coupe SUV for the Indian market. A rebadged version of this coupe SUV will also be launched by Toyota in India and is likely to be powered by a 1.2L petrol powertrain. More details however are yet to be shared by the brand.
