Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to roll out three new utility vehicles in the Indian market in next four years. The automaker has tasted great success with the Vitara Brezza compact SUV that became popular in the domestic market within very short span after introduction. Inspired by this success, Maruti wants to grow bigger in the highly competitive utility vehicle segment of the country market.

The upcoming three Maruti Suzuki UVs include a premium SUV that will challenge tough rivals like Tata Hexa and Mahindra XUV500. This car is expected to be rolled out sometime in late 2019 and it is likely to be priced between Rs. 12 lakh and Rs. 18 lakh (ex-showroom). Apart from that, there will be a crossover based on a modified version of the platform used by the Ertiga MPV. This modified architecture is internally codenamed as YHB.
