Maruti Suzuki has already confirmed that it wants to focus on two categories for sustainable future growth in Indian market. These are the electric vehicle and SUV segments. The brand already expressed its desire to launch a premium SUV in the country market that will be positioned above its very successful Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. This new SUV is expected to be the Vitara S that is likely to hit the market in near future.
The Maruti Suzuki Vitara S will come as more aggressive looking compared to the current Vitara S. It sports a bold looking large black mesh incorporated front grille with chrome trims flanked by sharp headlamps featuring projector lamps and integrated LED daytime running lights. A chunky front bumper will be there with large air intake and skid plate, while at both ends there are vertically positioned LED fog lamps with black detailing highlighting them.

The Maruti Suzuki Vitara S gets sporty alloy wheels, black cladding, turn indicator integrated ORVMs. Sharp character lines, blackened glass area and a muscular tone are visible at side profile, while the sporty roof rails enhance its style further. Moving to the back of the car, it gets wraparound taillights, roof spoiler and a chunky bumper with black accent. Overall, this car will come as an attractive premium performer product.
Not only exterior, inside the cabin too it will be very impressive. This SUV gets three-spoke multifunction steering wheels, analog and digital display consisting instrument cluster and a layered dashboard with red trims. The large touchscreen infotainment system will get Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and there will be piano black finishing around it. Seat and upholstery along with steering wheel and gear lever will get premium leather treatment and red contrast stitching. Expect it to offer generous space and comfort to the occupants.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara S will arrive equipped with several advanced high end safety features. On the powertrain front, this SUV is going to have a 1.4-litre Boosterjet turbocharged engine under the hood that is capable of churning out around 148 bhp of peak power and 220 Nm of peak torque generated between 1,500 rpm and 4,000 rpm. Transmission options for this SUV will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Power will be sent to all the four wheels through ALLGRIP AWD system.
