Upcoming Kia Cars At 2023 Auto Expo – New Carnival To EV9 Concept

Kia has confirmed that it will unveil its Concept EV, a large RV (Recreational Vehicle) and specialised mobility solutions at the 2023 Auto Expo

Kia India has today announced that it will showcase a host of products at the 2023 Auto Expo in Greater Noida. The South Korean auto major has confirmed that it will unveil its Concept EV ‘developed and designed to reflect innovation in the automobile’. In addition, a large RV (Recreational Vehicle) and specialised mobility solutions will also be on display.

The Kia Pavilion at Hall no. 7 spans 3,150 sq m and it will enable a range of engagement activities including Kia EV6 Simulator zone, a Technology zone showcasing a live demonstration of Kia Connect, a KIN wall of fame highlighting Kia’s local milestone, a smart plastic recycling unit, etc. Speaking of the exhibits, Tae Jin Park, MD & CEO, Kia India said,

“As a young carmaker, it has been our constant endeavour to offer a unique experience to our patrons. For about 4 years, we have been an inspiration for many, and the Auto Expo 2023 will not be any different. Through our diversified product showcase, we will offer visitors a glimpse of a sustainable tomorrow.”

As the Kia KA4 premium MPV will be revealed at the biennial motoring show and it has officially been teased as well. The KA4 spawned the fourth-generation Carnival in early 2020 in many international markets. It is more upmarket than the existing Carnival on sale in India and gets a more futuristic design appeal.

The teaser shows the presence of wraparound LED tail lamps, a sleek headlamp cluster with integrated LED Daytime Running Lights, a large greenhouse, etc. The interior will also be more premium than the India-spec Carnival with twin-screen layouts and a slew of more advanced features and technologies.

The Kia EV9 concept will also make its domestic premiere along with 7-Seater Kia Sorento SUV at the 2023 Auto Expo and it has a large footprint in a similar fashion to the Telluride. The three-row flagship SUV concept has several commonalities with the EV6 electric crossover including the E-GMP platform and its production model is due for launch in the global markets in the near future.
