The upcoming Jawa 300cc motorcycle spied undisguised for the first time in India Ahead of November 15th unveiling, retains the retro styling

Jawa Motorcycles India is running a lengthy teaser campaign and fan interactions on social media ahead of its market re-entry on November 15. The company has released another short teaser earlier in the day with tagline “Nostalgia just got an update”. Coincidentally enough, the retro Roadster, which had been spied wrapped in camouflage a few days ago, has finally come out with its production guise.

It is no secret that Jawa is going all out to compete against Royal Enfield’s Classic 350 and the undisguised spy picture of the 300 Roadster stands in testament. It gets an unmistakable retro design in a complete no-frills theme sending waves of nostalgia to the people who owned the iconic Jawas like RoadKing, Classic, Deluxe and Monarch.

The minimalist approach meant that it has traditional round headlamp, spoked wheels, large fenders, long seat, twin exhaust outlets on either side, engine with cooling fins, a conventional single piece grab rail, muscular tank with silver garnish and signature Jawa brand identity.

The Jawa Roadster will be powered by a 293 cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine capable of pumping out a maximum power output of 27 bhp and 28 Nm of peak torque. It has been confirmed to have an exhaust note resembling the distinct aural excellence of old Jawas.
